Job Descriptions

Account Executive

As our first Account Executive, you'll own the complete sales cycle from initial outreach through contract signature. You'll be working with Fortune 500 CISOs and CTOs, translating complex AI security concepts into clear business value that drives purchasing decisions.

What You'll Be Doing & Your Impact:

  • Acquire new enterprise logos and develop tailored sales strategies to exceed revenue targets in the rapidly growing AI security market

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers at AI-first companies, navigate complex procurement cycles, and serve as the trusted advisor who guides prospects through the evolving AI security landscape

  • Lead the expansion into new customer segments by surfacing unique use cases and requirements

  • Provide structured feedback to product and marketing teams, helping align our value proposition with market needs

  • Influence product roadmaps and feature development through your customer insights

  • Maintain accurate deal hygiene and forecasting within our CRM

  • Contribute to sales playbooks, processes, and best practices that will become the foundation for future sales hires

  • Build the sales machine from the ground up

Business Development Representative

As our first BDR, you'll be the initial point of contact for prospects entering our sales funnel. You'll master the art of outbound prospecting, creating compelling first impressions that generate excitement about Repello's AI security solutions.

What You'll Be Doing & Your Impact:

  • Research and identify high-potential prospects within AI-first companies

  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone

  • Qualify inbound leads and schedule demos for the Account Executive

  • Maintain accurate CRM data that drives our sales intelligence

  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign messaging

  • Develop deep understanding of AI security pain points across different industries

  • Consistently achieve activity and conversion metrics to fuel our sales pipeline

  • Define effective outbound strategies in the AI security space

  • Build processes and playbooks that will scale with our growing sales team

Qualifications

Who You Are

Whether you're applying for the Account Executive or BDR role, you bring a unique combination of sales acumen and genuine interest in the AI security space. You understand that selling to AI companies requires a different approach than traditional enterprise sales, and you're excited by the challenge of educating the market on emerging threats.

You're comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities can shift quickly. You have strong opinions about what makes enterprise sales work in 2025, and you're not afraid to challenge conventional wisdom when you see a better way forward.

For Account Executive:

You bring 3+ years of enterprise B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing $50K+ deals. You have experience selling technical products to technical buyers and understand how to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Experience selling to AI/ML companies, security vendors, or developer tools is a significant plus, as is familiarity with the compliance and procurement processes common in regulated industries.

For Business Development Rep:

You have 1-3 years of SDR/BDR experience in B2B tech with a strong track record of hitting activity and conversion metrics. You're proficient with modern sales tools and you have a history of consistent quota achievement. Experience prospecting into AI companies or tech startups will set you apart from other candidates.

Success Metrics

What Success Looks Like

Account Executive:

In your first 3 months, you'll have closed your first deal and built a pipeline worth at least 3x your quarterly quota. By month 6, you'll be recognized as the go-to person for AI security deals in your territory, with a deep understanding of customer pain points and objections. Within 12 months, you'll be hitting 120%+ of quota and ready to help train the next wave of Account Executives.

Business Development Rep:

Your first 3 months will focus on consistently hitting activity metrics while generating qualified opportunities that convert to demos. By month 6, you'll have become the team's expert on prospecting into AI companies, with proven templates and approaches that others can replicate. Within 12 months, you'll be ready for promotion to Account Executive or crushing quota in a specialized BDR role.

Compensation

Our total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, uncapped commission structure, and meaningful equity as an early team member. We pay market rates, not startup-discount rates, because we believe in attracting top talent from day one.

You'll have access to a modern sales stack with all the tools you need to succeed, plus the autonomy to influence our technology choices as we build out our sales infrastructure. As one of our first sales hires, your equity participation reflects the significant impact you'll have on our growth trajectory.

Q: Is this a remote position? A: No, this is an in-person role based in our HSR Layout, Bengaluru office. Great sales happens in person.

Q: Do I need cybersecurity sales experience? A: Not required, but helpful. Experience selling to AI companies is more valuable to us than traditional security experience.

Q: What's the sales cycle like? A: 3-9 months for enterprise deals. We're selling to companies that take AI security seriously, not impulse buyers.

Q: What's the interview process? A: After reviewing your application, we'll have a conversation about your sales philosophy. If aligned, you'll meet the team and do a mock demo/discovery call.

Q: Do you provide sales training? A: Yes, but we expect you to come with fundamentals. We'll teach you AI security; you bring sales skills.
